Above all, I like Jineen; her philosophy and approach. She is an excellent instructor with a wealth of information gleaned from many expert sources. Jineen is cautious without instilling fear in her students. She encourages responsible horsemanship. What excited me the most was finding a teacher who respects my values regarding an animals’ life/rights.  I am also excited about the aspects of horse-back riding that I am learning. Loland Oaks is a superb facility with an exceptional teacher and family! The experience has been tremendous. I plan to continue forever!

We chose Loland Oaks because of the smaller, individualized atmosphere and its focus in learning, not in competing. The best thing that Loland Oaks teaches is to love horse and yourself and nature. Classes are well rounded, stable, grounds as well as animal care. Staff is full of excitement and tons of knowledge. What excited us the most about what our daughter has learned and been able to accomplish in knowing herself, as well as the horse, and that they are related.

I started riding with the equestrian team at college and had my fist lesson last night. It’s so different, it’s really weird, it’s like it’s not Loland Oaks and the instructor is not you and I needed to call you and tell you like seriously what an amazing instructor you are, you don’t have other people to judge yourself by, but like seriously, I can’t wait to be back and have you again and to be back with your horses. This barn is really cool, 65 horses, but it is so impersonal.
